Job purpose / overview:
As the Content Coordinator, you’ll be an integral part of the marketing team responsible for curating strong photo and video content for our social media channels, the website, emails, adverts and other marketing materials. You will work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to carry out the brand vision set by the Creative Director. As well as being a highly creative individual with a keen eye for detail, you will also have excellent communication skills allowing you to brief & liaise with external photographers, videographers and talent.
As an e-commerce business, the content we put out is the main window to our brand and the main way we showcase our product. A Content Coordinator will understand the importance of high-quality photos and video, and curate content that is not only engaging but that also shows the high standard of our clothing and goods- maintaining and acquiring new customers.
You’ll be in the thick of the action, following creative direction to source and build relationships with on-brand photographers & videographers, models & locations to set up and oversee the execution and delivery of photoshoots. You will also have the opportunity to help direct and assist on in-house e-commerce & lifestyle and some external shoots. It will be the Content Curators responsibility to plan & prep for all content shoots, sourcing props, styling pieces and dressing the set- using their initiative to make sure everything runs smoothly and to quickly solve any problem that may occur.
This position requires an extremely organised individual able to work on multiple projects at one time; working to tight deadlines to ensure that the Graphic Designer, Merchandiser & digital marketing teams have what they need to launch key campaigns and product collections. You will be a natural free-thinker using your creative know-how as well as analytical skills to provide inspiring content.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support the Brand Marketing Manager to prepare and curate content photoshoots & pitches to the senior management team.
-Carry out both the Creative Director’s vision for both lifestyle, e-commerce and event photography.
-Work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager to ensure that influencer strategy & the content they provide is in line with larger content shoots & brand guidelines.
-Follow creative direction.
-Work in advance to meet deadlines to align with product launches.
-Source external photographers, videographers & models.
-Content shoot briefing & mood-boarding.
-Content shoot logistics- location search, booking travel, spaces & transport.
-Prep products ready for photoshoots.
-Book collections & send product to external photoshoots.
-Set dressing & prop sourcing.
-Budget & invoice management.
-Work up basic contracts between our brand (the client) and external photographers & videographers.
-Assist on-set at e-commerce & some lifestyle shoots.
-Capture behind the scenes content within the P&Co studio & at events such as our pop-up shops for social channels.
-Manage content folders.
-Work with the digital marketing teams to understand what additional content is needed based on data, what is working and what isn’t.
-Support the marketing team with copywriting.
-Support the Brand Marketing Manager with content ideation for campaigns.
Key skill requirements
-A (BA) Hons Degree in marketing, visual communications or similar is desirable.
-GCSE Maths & English at C or above required and an art/design subject desirable.
-2-3 years experience in marketing or similar.
-Photography, videography & editing skills would be a plus.
-Candidates should have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
-Excellent written and verbal communication & language skills.
-A natural content creator.
-A strong eye for detail & aesthetic.
-Should be a highly organised individual.
-Ability to problem-solve and follow creative direction.
-Should be a highly creative yet analytical thinker.
-Past experience working for a design brand, within retail or fashion ideal.
-Should have a strong awareness of other fashion, goods and design brands.
-Would ideally have a strong awareness of photographers, influencers & modelling agencies.
