Celebrating the Launch of Our Summer Collection
After months of planning, shooting and anticipation, this past weekend marked the official launch of our Summer Collection - a collection inspired by the laid-back charm, colour and character of Europe. To celebrate, we welcomed our P&Co community into the store for two days of good ‘Euro Summer’ inspired food, great company and plenty of sunshine-fuelled energy.
We kicked things off on Friday evening with a private launch party, inviting friends and family of the brand to be the first to experience the collection in person before it became available to the public at the store.
Guests were welcomed with beers from Duvel and our friends at Jubel, while a dedicated martini bar served cocktails inspired by one of our favourite pieces from the collection: the Crying Martini Tee. Throughout the evening, trays of freshly made arancini, olives and traditional pastel de natas kept everyone going.
Providing the soundtrack for the night was Elliott Stewart, better known as Stewpot. Elliott DJ'd at our very first London pop-up a good few years ago, so having him behind the decks for another major milestone felt like a fitting full-circle moment.
One of the standout features of the evening was a custom ice sculpture carved into the shape of the mermaid embroidered onto one of our linen shirts from the collection. Equal parts art installation and conversation starter, it quickly became the centrepiece of the room and a favourite photo opportunity for guests.
Most importantly, hosting our kick-off event gave everyone who came along the chance to get up close with the collection, discovering the fabrics, details and stories behind the pieces before anyone else.
Saturday: Opening the Doors
The celebrations continued on Saturday as we opened the doors to the public for everyone to finally get a look at the collection in person.
Early visitors were greeted with iced coffees courtesy of renowned Italian coffee brand illy, alongside more pastel de natas from our neighbours in Spitalfields, Santa Nata, and fresh Italian gelato served by Brice London from a beautifully customised P&Co gelato cart stationed just inside the store.
To thank those who arrived early, we put together a limited run of goodie bags for the first 50 people through the door. Packed with exclusive postcards, olives, keychains, coasters and bandanas, they were snapped up quickly by the queue that had formed outside before opening.
Seeing so many people turn out to support the launch was genuinely incredible. Whether you joined us on Friday evening, stopped by on Saturday, or have supported us from afar, thank you for helping make the weekend such a memorable one.
