Product Logistics Assistant/Executive

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Product Logistics Assistant to join our product team. Supporting the smooth delivery of stock across the business, you will work closely with the Product Development Manager and wider merchandising team to manage purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and ensure all shipments meet required timelines.

With a strong focus on freight strategy and supplier coordination, you will play a key role in maximising margin and supporting seamless seasonal product planning.

As a Product Logistics- Assistant / Executive, you will be an integral part of the product team, helping ensure that purchase orders are issued and the product arrives within the required deadlines. You will work closely with the Product Development Manager and merchandising team to help strategise freight and increase overall margin. There will also be an opportunity for you to assist the product team in helping to develop season-to-season ranges.  

Reporting to the Product Development Manager and CEO, you will support the team in managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to ensure required intake dates are met and organising shipping logistics.

Daily tasks will include maintaining purchase orders, communicating with logistics partners, proposing freight strategy, ensuring all deliveries meet the SLA requirements of our 3PL fulfilment centres and maintaining clear timelines to keep all team members informed on the progression of stock.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage & issue purchase orders to suppliers to meet required intake dates.

- Work closely with merchandisers & product developers to ensure stock is produced within agreed time frames.

- Handle communications with logistics partners to ensure stock is delivered efficiently.

- Maintain project timelines to highlight when stock is due to be available at our UK & US fulfilment centres.

- Work alongside the Product Development Manager to determine ex-factory strategies to help reduce freight costs & improve overall margins.

- Update key team members on issues within the supply chain.

- Developing and maintaining all packaging and POS, ensuring sufficient stock levels are in place at our fulfilment warehouse at all times.

- Ensure all products and deliveries meet the SLA set out by our 3PL to ensure goods are processed as quickly as possible. 

- Ensure all admin is in place to maintain and optimise the efficient running of production activities and that the brand's interests are protected.

- Assist in supporting the product team with the development, sourcing, and production of ranges.

- Develop personally by keeping up to date with the latest fashion, ecommerce, digital and social trends, technologies and opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills – both verbally and in writing.

- Have the ability to get it done autonomously, while leveraging the strengths of your teammates where appropriate.

- Ability to work well with project management tools, task sharing and meeting deadlines.

- Good at prioritising and natural ability to tackle various logistical issues.

- Ability to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines.

- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive better results.

- Familiarity with industry terminology and techniques.
