Whilst in London a few weeks back, we dropped into the London Social to have a chat with studio owner Miles Langford to see what he has in store for us at the 3rd stop of our P&Co Tattoo Tour...

P&Co: Tell us about The London Social, why did you decide to open your own studio?

Miles: I opened London Social as I wanted to take what I had learned and experienced working around the world to bring something slightly different to London. At the time I was also over working for badly organised shops and saw it as the ideal time to execute my vision.

P&Co: How long have you been tattooing?

Miles: I’m in my 6th year of tattooing. It’s taken me to New York & LA, and now back to London.

P&Co: Have you always aspired to be a tattoo artist?

Miles: I’ve wanted to do it since I was 11 years old.

P&Co: Is there anything or anyone in particular that inspires you?

Miles: I’m inspired daily, just from talking to individuals in all areas & all walks of life. If we’re talking tattooists- Mark Mahoney & Bob Roberts, for me, are the best 2 in the business & I’m extremely lucky to be able to call them both friends.

P&Co: How would you describe your tattooing style?

Miles: I specialise in fine line black & grey tattoo styles- with a nod to East LA. But I do like to work with a variety of styles- something that I don’t think is really done in modern times with most young artists focusing on just one.

P&Co: What sort of designs can we expect to see at The London Social Tattoo Tour stop?

Miles: We have a big team of artists working on the day, so you can expect a wide range of styles. (See Artists below. Flash Sheets coming soon.)

P&Co: Which artists are gonna be there?

Miles: Karl Cooper, Math, Pauly, Hannah, Claudio & more.

P&Co: Give us a recap, what the plan for the day?

Miles: ang out, get some good tattoos done & give away some clothes.

P&Co: Any future plans for The London Social you can tell us about?

Miles: Nothing that I can say until next year. Get a chair it’s going to be good viewing for some people. What I can say is that we will continue to work hard & grow… London’s finest.
