Middle Weight/ Senior Product Designer
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and the product design team to bring our brand's vision to life, crafting clothing ranges that resonate with our customer personas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, a passion for lifestyle interests that align with P&Co’s identity, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will play a key role in supporting the creative vision for our collections. You will contribute to the visual direction, offering additional ideas and approaches to enhance our product offerings.
You will work closely with our product developers and our factories to ensure that our products are developed to your vision and wider, the Creative Directors’ for the collection/ vision. As P&Co is in a growth phase, this role will be crucial in expanding our men’s, women’s, and goods ranges at the right pace while maintaining our unique DNA, visual identity, and commitment to quality. You must be able to react quickly, multitask, stay up-to-date on design and brand trends, and collaborate seamlessly with team members. This is a position for a quick-thinking creative with excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Creative Director and design team to develop clothing ranges that align with our brand vision and customer personas.
- Take ownership of the product design process from ideation to presentation, including sketching, prototyping, and creating technical specifications.
- Work closely with our product developers and factories over email to ensure that our products are developed to a high standard, within-budget, on-time and on-brand to the Creative Director’s vision.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure our products areon-trend and competitive in the marketplace.
- Develop mood boards, trend forecasts and colour palettes to present to the Creative director toinitiate the design of new ranges.
- Ensure all product ideas capture P&Co’s unique DNA and translate into on-brand exciting products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure products are delivered on time and on budget.
Key Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the fashion industry
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills, including sketching, technical specifications, and prototyping
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and managing a team
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and consumer insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products
