Why do we collect your data?
We want to provide you with the best service we possibly can and offer a seamless user experience on our website. As we sell and dispatch products, we’ll need your data in order to send your order out to you, let you know when it’s coming and prevent fraud. We’d also like to use your data to keep you up to date with what we’re doing at P&Co, including our latest news and offers.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with your data to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, contact our customer services team, arrange for a deliver or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent. This is usually a tick-box on check out, or if you register for our newsletter. If you have opted in, then change your mind at any time, please contact us and we can remove your data records. How long do we save your data?
We will keep your data as long as you are an active customer.
Email & SMS Marketing
If you have agreed to receive marketing materials from us, we may send you emails and SMS messages concerning new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
You can stop these at any time by:

Online advertising and Remarketing
To keep you as up to date as possible with what’s new at P&Co, we may occasionally use adverts and remarketing adverts which will show across other websites, social networks and apps that you visit. They may include products and services that we think you will be interested in, based on what you have viewed or bought on our website. We obtain this information via pixels, tags, cookies or by services that are offered by websites and social media networks and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via email and SMS.”
We love social media, and its built in to our DNA. We love to see what our P&Co customers are wearing, having conversations with you and supporting your customer service needs through social media.
If you interact with us on social media, you are consenting and allowing us to interact with you. An interaction can be defined as liking or following our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or YouTube accounts, commenting or tagging us in photos or posts and sharing our content via liking or retweeting. From this interaction, we may collect data that will help enhance your experience with us in the future.
We love to hero our customers and fans and like to share your social media content through our channels. You can share your intention to have your image shared by tagging us in a photograph or use any of our branded hashtags found on the official P&Co instagram here. By interacting with us in this way, you are consenting that we can use images or comments royalty free without limitation. If you are unhappy with us sharing your comments or images, please do let us know and we will remove the image.

We host our store on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. All data is stored behind multiple firewalls on secure servers.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.
P&Co will not disclose any of your information to any third parties except in a situation where it is part of providing a service to you. This includes arranging for a product to be sent to you, carrying out security checks through Shopify or when you have given us permission to do so.
