Building a Heritage Wardrobe for Spring
A heritage wardrobe isn’t built overnight, it’s layered up over time. Season by season, piece by piece, evolving through the addition of new staples that work seamlessly with what’s already there.
a heritage wardrobe
This edit was about exactly that. Introducing new styles designed to sit alongside our existing lineup of heritage-inspired pieces, not replace them. New, timeless additions that slot straight into rotation: updated fatigue pants, new-season denim, lightweight shirts, and everyday essentials that build on the foundations we’ve already laid. The focus wasn’t on reinventing the look, but refining it. Taking those core silhouettes - the ones that have always made workwear and heritage styling - and reworking them in spring-ready fabrics & colourways, fresher fits, and more versatile finishes.
Because the strength of a heritage wardrobe comes from how everything connects, new pieces shouldn’t feel separate; they should feel like they’ve always belonged. Worn with old favourites, styled into familiar outfits, and built into the kind of daily uniform that only gets better with time.
Shot around East London, the styling brought these pieces together in a natural, everyday setting. Worn across sunlit streets and quieter corners, the looks leaned into effortless layering - mixing new-season additions with familiar staples. No overthinking, just well-built outfits that feel lived-in, functional, and ready for whatever the day throws at them.
Denim plays a key role for us this season (and every season, who are we kidding?). A good denim jacket or overshirt works as both a standalone piece and a layering essential, worn open over softer cottons or buttoned up for a more structured look. The beauty lies in how these pieces evolve with wear, softening over time and becoming uniquely yours.
Spring calls for adaptability, with cooler mornings, warmer afternoons, and heritage-inspired dressing answers that with ease.
Layering is where these staples really come into their own. Spring calls for adaptability, with cooler mornings, warmer afternoons, and heritage-inspired dressing answers that with ease. Lightweight fabrics, breathable cottons, and considered fits allow you to build outfits that move with the day.
Texture also plays a big part. Mixing hardwearing waxed cotton canvas with soft jersey, or raw denim with worn-in cotton, creates depth without overcomplicating things. It’s about balance; practical pieces elevated through subtle details, considered cuts, and quality materials.
What ties it all together is simplicity. A heritage wardrobe isn’t about having more, it’s about having better. Pieces that work together without effort, forming the foundation of everyday dressing.
Built to last and designed to be worn on repeat, these are the garments that define timeless style, season after season.
