Your Role

We’re looking for a junior-mid weight designer with a passion for engaging visuals and graphic communication to join our fast-paced and growing team.

Reporting into the Creative Director, this design position is suitable for a creative and multi-disciplined all-rounder. You will be instrumental in the execution of the brand’s vision, implementing the visual style through all customer touch points with the brand.

You will carry out the vision created by the Creative Director and fully support the visual direction while offering up additional ideas and approaches. You’ll act as a project lead across multiple disciplines in collaboration with the Creative Director.

You must create branded email templates and other digital touch points, such as social media paid adverts, in order to create brand consistency to our customers. You must adhere to brand guidelines as outlined by the Creative Director. This position requires someone who can work fluidly across different styles. This person should be able to understand the brand DNA to be able to produce on-brand and engaging visuals.

You must be able to react quickly and multitask, keep up-to-date on design and brand trends, and collaborate with team members. This is a position for a quick-thinking creative with great organisational skills.

This position requires an experienced problem solver who is highly motivated, driven and passionate about the P&Co brand. You will have a strong attention to detail and design aesthetic, continue to stay curious and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Creative Director in the development of all visual aesthetics for the brand.

• Be able to work with an existing creative direction ‘look & feel’ and to also pitch and develop other directions, on occasion.

• Roll out a creative ‘look and feel’ across a multitude of platforms including email, web and social to ensure a consistent campaign execution across all branded platforms.

• Concept and create new and exciting visuals for different campaigns and collections.

• Create visual assets for P&Co for marketing channels, including;  email and social media accounts.

• Show initiative and proactively present and escalate ideas, suggestions and problems to ensure outstanding results.

• Be proactive in thinking of new exciting ways we can push our products.

• Offer solutions to the Creative Director, responding to critique and direction with an open mind.

• Develop graphic systems that are not just visually engaging but make sense for the P&Co brand.

• Communicate clearly with Ecommerce, Brand & Marketing team on weekly objectives and help facilitate execution of projects with limited timelines.

• Work through creative briefs to a consistently high standard whilst hitting deadlines.

• Be responsible for your own workload and task management/ prioritising tasks.

Key Skill Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in digital design and be highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the entire Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform.

Skills in illustration, photography, video editing, and HTML are highly desirable, with photography being an added bonus. A natural content creator, the candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of problem-solving while following creative direction.

They should possess an advanced understanding of digital formats across various screen sizes and devices, along with a good understanding of web technologies and standards. Expertise in creating web-ready artwork is essential, and some knowledge of video editing is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, and past experience in brand design, retail, or the fashion industry would be advantageous.
