THIS YEAR’S ‘THE BIKE SHED SHOW’ WAS HELD IN THE GRADE 1 LISTED TOBACCO DOCKS IN LONDON’S EAST END, WHERE HUNDREDS OF LIKE-MINDED RIDERS & MOTORCYCLE ENTHUSIASTS RODE IN TO ADMIRE THE EXTENSIVE WORK OF BOTH BIG NAME AND INDEPENDENT CUSTOM BUILDERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE.
ADOPTING A MORE ‘INVITATIONAL’ APPROACH WHEN SELECTING EXHIBITORS MEANT THAT THIS WAS HONESTLY THE BEST BIKE SHED EVENT TO DATE- SHOWING THE HIGHEST QUALITY & THE MOST UNIQUE CAFE RACERS, BOBBERS AND CHOPPERS FROM THE LIKES OF OHLINS, BMW, YAHAMA YARD BUILT & INDIAN MOTORCYCLE.
AS IF WE WEREN’T IMPRESSED ENOUGH BY THE SHEAR AMOUNT OF MOTORCYCLES PULLING UP OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE, THOSE ON THE INSIDE REALLY WERE SOMETHING ELSE! WITH PERSONAL FAVOURITES FROM THE DEATH MACHINES OF LONDON, ROUGH CRAFTS AND CMBL MOTOR SURF CO. AND FOR THOSE WHO WERE ABLE TO BREAK AWAY FROM THE LURE OF THE BIKES, THERE WERE ALSO DISPLAYS FROM MOTO-INSPIRED ARTISTS, CLOTHING & GEAR BRANDS, A TATTOO STUDIO & A BARBERS TO FIX THE HELMET HAIR!
WITH THE SUN BLAZING ON THE DOCKS, A CIGAR IN HAND, LIVE MUSIC AND EVEN BETTER COFFEE, IT WAS THE PERFECT START TO A BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND IN THE CAPITAL.
