You’ll be spreading awareness & growing our following, managing our communities and ultimately driving revenue through social media marketing.
This role is for a natural creative- a content creator with a strong eye for detail and the ability to create engaging & visually appealing video & photo content. This person lives & breathes all things social. A good knowledge of multiple social channels, features & tools is essential, but they should equally be someone who enjoys joining in conversation & actively engaging with audiences.
They will identify & curate content ideas, leverage events & launches, collaborate with key creators & engage with relevant trends. The Social Media Executive will always be on the lookout for new platforms, social network innovations & trends within digital marketing.
They will work collaboratively with the creative & marketing teams to implement campaigns across channels- supporting with strategy, concept generation, planning & reporting. You’ll need to be self-motivated, detail-orientated & have strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the marketing team in the strategy, ideation & delivery of organic social media marketing.
• Responsible for the daily execution of organic marketing including content creation, scheduling & publishing across multiple social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook & LinkedIn.
• Follow the brand guidelines & execute the social strategy agreed on with the Brand Marketing Manager.
• Write, proof & edit social posts ensuring they reflect the quality & tone of voice of the brand.
• Create content on an ‘ad-hoc’ basis whether that be photos or video footage.
• Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team including the content coordinator & graphic designer to aid with content creation & campaign delivery.
• Work with set KPIs (goals) to complete weekly reports to feedback on the success of multiple social channels. Use analytical data to support the evaluation of content & to guide future posts & strategies.
• Grow personally & dig deep into the world of social media to stay aware of the latest social trends, conversations, new features & opportunities.
• Work to timelines & the retail calendar to effectively plan posts. Be aware of daily studio activity.
• Build a social calendar to highlight any relevant dates, holidays or social events whether they be external or internal.
• Work closely with our PR & Marketing Assistant to manage our growing communities daily- joining in conversations, sharing & liking customer posts & comments.
• Execute campaigns as briefed by the Brand Marketing Manager & support with idea generation for key collection launches & retail calendar events.
• Assume responsibility for the accuracy & quality of work that goes out on all channels.
• Positively support & demonstrate P&Co's values, personality & culture.
• Find & build positive relationships with external creative to help execute our strategy.
• Assist the marketing team in wider team projects whether that be events, photoshoots or copywriting.
Key Skill Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a background in social media marketing, with experience in content creation, such as photography and basic video skills, being preferred. They must have a solid understanding of digital channels and digital marketing, alongside experience using multiple social media platforms and tools, including scheduling tools.
Confidence in utilizing in-app features such as reels and TikTok is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, as well as excellent copywriting skills to inform and engage audiences effectively.
Good analytical skills are crucial to enabling continual improvement in output by interpreting data and translating it into actionable insights. The candidate should demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a strong discernment for high-quality content, along with the creative ability to produce or brief organic content as needed.
They must be capable of prioritizing and adjusting plans to accommodate a busy retail calendar and last-minute changes, working efficiently and independently to meet deadlines. The ability to work autonomously while leveraging team strengths when necessary is also essential. A natural curiosity, combined with a commitment to testing new ideas and innovating for better results, is highly valued. The candidate should possess strong organisational, time management, and teamwork skills, be able to handle various administrative tasks, and maintain a proactive, can-do attitude
