Last Friday we dipped out of the office early, picked up the bikes, loaded the van and made the 4 hour ride down to Dorset in the South of England.
A couple of weeks prior, our Operations manager Jordan, came across an ad for a custom built Honda CB500 T, from the guys at Inglorious Motorcycles, that was being held at ‘Coast’- a surf & moto concept store in Poole, along the Dorset Coast. Knowing that the August Bank Holiday Weekend was coming up, we decided to escape the city & make a trip of it. One long ride, a couple of nights camping out in a yurt & a new motorcycle.
Coast (@wearecoast) is a family run business stocking motorcycle & surf goods from around the globe; such as Deus, Biltwell, TCSS, Salt & Stone, Iron & Resin and Brixton, as well a number of locally shaped boards & custom builds from Inglorious Motorcycles, Deus Ex Machina & Side Rock Cycles.
But it is much more than your average retail store. Alongside the extensive range of apparel, riding gear & accessories, Coast boasts it’s own coffee shop- the coffee from which is something else, is home to the ‘First Electric’ Tattoo Parlour and plays host to a number of events & pop-ups with the likes of Vans, Deus & Obey.
Surrounded by award winning beaches, surf spots & a harbour that “make for a Mecca of outdoor adventure”, Coast is the ideal hangout for anyone living the ‘wild’ lifestyle; surfers, skaters, bikers (& the moto-curious), or those who just love a good coffee.
