A couple of weekends back riders gathered in Victoria, Australia at Krusic’s Ride park for a weekend of good vibes and bad influences at Dirt Daze 2019. The Dirt Daze mantra is ‘run what you brung’ and, from choppers to street trackers, posties to race hooligans & scooters to v twins, there was one hell of a variety of custom bikes which all told their own story. As the event spanned across the weekend riders camped on the Friday, waking up to sound of engines and the smell of gasoline ready for the day that followed. Once the tracks were open the thrills and spills got underway. Alongside the racing, people gathered in Gastown to experience music, food and beers with good company. Gastown also offered seating to those that wanted an even better view to spectate the tracks.
Each track was named after the main sponsors of the event, including the Kustom Kommune Scrambler Track, the Shinko Tyers Dirt Drags, The Indian Motorcycle Flat Track and the appropriately named Saint Unbreakable Hill Climb, which was the main cause of plunges. Riders were quick to give a helping hand to those that needed it. Although Team P&Co couldn’t make it out to this years event, we hope to be there next year for the 3rd Dirt Daze Weekend!
